MISSION MONDAYS - Updated

Here are some fill in the blanks for your Summer Calendars. Make sure to note that the first Monday has changed.

• May 31st @ 8:30am-1pm - Church Work Day - bring gloves with you and a water bottle, we will make sure you have lunch
• June 7th @ 9am-1pm - Genesis House - We will be doing some yard work at the different sites this morning. Bring work gloves and a water bottle. We will have addition drinks for you.
• June 14th @ 10am-2pm - Master's Workshop - Wear tennis shoes and come ready to play.
• June 28th @
• July 12th @
• July 19th @

July 19th Mission Monday

This weeks Mission Monday, will actually not happen on Monday. It will happen each morning beginning tuesday the 20th - 23rd. We will be working with the city's environmental department. The first day, they will teach about the work we will be doing and then the next three days we will be out in the field. More to come...

Combining JR High & HS for the Summer

In our April Youth Council meeting we decided to make some changes to our weekly programs for the summer. Beginning Wednesday, May 26th, both JR High and High School students will be combined for our youth programs. JR High will not meet on Tuesdays but will join the High School Group on Wednesday evenings from 6pm through 8:30pm.

This change will allow for our weekly summer activites to be spread out, provide more time to plan for Wednesday evening lessons, and build some excitment into Wednesday evenings playing big group games. In addition, we hope to see some new relationships develop and grow between both age groups.

Our basic schedule will remain the same with time to gather, going offsite to eat, and a lesson each week. We are excited about the change and what God will be doing through it.

Spring Break Events

Plans for Spring Break have been completed. Check out the list of events and then register for the ones you would like to participate in. There is a deadline for one of the mission events. Read more to find out why.

As many of you have already heard, Disney has already fulfilled the 1,000,000 tickets to the Disney Parks that were being given away as a part of the Disney Give-A-Day, Get-A-Day program. So, while we will not receive a Disney ticket we will still be volunteering on Tuesday to help with a project at camp.
